speech

I want to thank you all for coming together this evening on somewhat of a short notice. By a show of hands, how many of you here today are in need of a change? Are you tired of not having adequate healthcare? Are you tired of corporate bureaucracy, with the only goal in mind is to make shareholders rich? Are you tired of high taxes? Are you tired of sending soldier after soldier after soldier to fight in a war whose end is long overdue? Are you tired of inadequate public school education, where children are continually rolling downhill and falling between the deep cracks?

If you have answered these questions with a resounding "yes" then it is time to put behind your failed ambitions, your unreached goals, your heavy hearts and your lost dreams, and put forth new dreams. Reach higher summits. Aleviate the pressure of hopelessness. If you are ready to make a change then help us with the financial endorsement of Sen. Barack Obama for President of the United State of America!!

You say that corporations are only making shareholders rich. Who are the shareholders? People like me with a 401k. I more concerned about bigger government. I believe that would be Obama's legacy should he win the election.

I agree that we need to use and concerve our American energy resources. McCain is for using our oil supplies and better technology and practices to maximize our God given resources.

unfortunately, the majority of shareholder's 401-k accounts, including my own, have been reduced to nothing because of certain policies set in place. I do agree, however, that bigger govt. should be in the forefront of the issues that need to be fixed.
